HOW DO I CARE FOR HANDMADE CERAMICS
While many of the handmade ceramics we sell are dishwasher-safe, we recommend washing these lovely items by hand to prolong their life.
CAN I RETURN ITEMS BOUGHT IN-STORE?
We do not accept returns at Beck Steps Gallery Grasmere unless an item is faulty, so please choose carefully. If an item is agreed to be faulty we will exchange or give a credit note for items purchased in-store. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging and within 7 working days, unless other arrangements have been made in advance with the gallery. Please contact us in advance about your intention to return goods.
CAN I RETURN ITEMS BOUGHT ONLINE?
Returns for online purchases will only be accepted if the item is agreed to be faulty, so please choose carefully. If you return a faulty online purchase you must contact us within 7 calendar days after you receive your order and you then have a further 7 calendar days to return the item to us, unless other arrangements have been agreed in advance with the gallery. We will refund you in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 days of receiving your return. You will be credited for the price of the purchase including postage.
The cost of returning items safely to us is yours, and we cannot accept damaged or altered items, or items that have been worn. The items should be repacked and returned in its original packing materials unless the package’s condition is such that it is unusable for a safe return.
We will do our very best to deal with any complaints or issues straight away and we’ll let you know what we’re doing to put things right, by phone or email as quickly as possible. Goods agreed to be faulty or damaged during transit will be replaced or a refund made after the goods have been checked by the gallery, all in accordance with currently applicable consumer law.
WHAT ARE YOUR DELIVERY CHARGES?
Postage and packing is included in the price of your online purchase, and these are for mainland UK only. Customers outside the UK and in the Scottish Highlands and Islands should contact the gallery before making a purchase to obtain the appropriate shipping cost. We aim to deliver goods by the most secure and cost effective method available, using reputable carriers, and take the greatest care with our packing to ensure the items arrive in the best possible condition.
